[Force 12 Talk] C3SS ?

Hi John,
Is there any place the antenna dips on 10M? Maybe the 10M driver is too long
or too short? I think the C3SS is somewhat susceptible to any tilt in the
elements. But not sure if it ever gave me 3:1. I assume you have the
correct short wires between the 10M and 20M drivers and the wires aren't
close together. And one of the 10M wires didn't come off.
For sure the A3WS is having an impact on the C3SS, whether or not you see
it with SWR. Rotate the antennas so they are at right angles and see if your
SWR changes on 10M. 12M will affect 10M and 17M will affect 15M in
performance with very close spacing like you have. But better than not
having an antenna for those bands.
That's all I can think of for the moment.
GL and let us know what you find out.
N2TK, Tony

Hi all,
have a?
just put a c3ss antenna up and have a Crushcraft A3WS about 3 and a half
feet above c3ss.
I find swr ok on 15,20m but 10m is a 3.1. Poss need to put bigger space
between antennas.
Any body have similar problems.
cheers john MM0BQN
